Advanced Protocols for Medical Emergencies in the OMS Office

Emergencies are something that oral and maxillofacial surgeons want to prevent while providing office based anesthesia, but is something that the entire staff needs to be prepared for at any given time. This course has been designed for assistants that have previously taken part in either the Anesthesia Assistants Review Course (AARC) or Dental Anesthesia Assistant National Certification Examination (DAANCE) and successfully completed the program. This course will cover emergencies in the office setting that OMS assistants may encounter and should be prepared to handle.

Information about the 2026 course will be available later this year.
