Parameters of Care

The Parameters of Care: Clinical Practice Guidelines for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (AAOMS ParCare 12) is intended to reflect practice considerations for 11 designated areas of oral and maxillofacial surgery. This latest edition of ParCare was compiled by the Special Committee on OMS parameters of Care, which carefully reviewed the contents and contributions from specialty experts, practicing oral and maxillofacial surgeons and other communities of interest. The combined work of these individuals assures that ParCare will continue to provide comprehensive and definitive documentation of the 11 clinical practice areas that comprise the specialty of oral and maxillofacial surgery.
